Susan M. Kennedy
Susan is licensed to practice in the State of New Jersey and earned her J.D., cum laude, as well as her Masters of Studies in Environmental Law, magna cum laude, from the Vermont Law School. She earned her undergraduate degree in Biology from Delaware Valley College of Science and Agriculture.
Prior to being named "of counsel” at Cahill & Associates, Susan was the Staff Attorney/Staff Scientist for both a local and a national environmental organization dedicated to protecting coastal and marine resources, served as in-house counsel to two (2) corporations that provided technology services to the insurance and financial industries, and was an associate counsel practicing environmental, land use, municipal and corporate law. Before embarking on a career in law, Susan enjoyed a successful career as a Biologist/Site Manager for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Field Investigation Team and Technical Assistance Team conducting field investigations and remediation at superfund sites, including New Jersey, New York, Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Islands.
Susan currently specializes in, among other things, environmental, land use and corporate law and litigation, and serves as the firm's export counsel, negotiating the OFAC and BIS import/export and travel regulations for corporate clients.
